Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce Unity Bank has made a generous donation to support Hunterdon Medical Center’s efforts in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Funds will be used to erect a free-standing Respiratory Illness Center to triage patients. It will be located in the back of Hunterdon Medical Center in a parking lot with easy access to the hospital.
“We are thankful to Unity Bank for their commitment to supporting our healthcare providers and keeping our community safe during this critical time of need,” stated Phil Beekman, Senior Vice President, Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation. Unity Bank has supported Hunterdon Healthcare as a Corporate Donor since 1991. From annual donations and sponsorships of many health programs throughout the growing footprint of Hunterdon Healthcare locations, to investing $250,000 in 2015 with a multi-year pledge to support the healthcare needs of the community and aid development projects such as the Norman and Denise Guilloud Cardiovascular Center. The overall combined mission of the Unity Bank and Hunterdon Healthcare partnership is to improve the quality of life of all our residents.
Since opening its doors in 1991, Unity Bank has taken a personal interest in not only customers but the entire “well-being” of surrounding neighborhoods. Now with 19 branches operating in 7 counties, they continue to grow and to enhance the communities they serve.
