Reducing Fall Risk in Cancer Patients and Survivors Free Screening Program

Flier for Balance & Fall Program
October 5, 2021

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, the Oncology Rehabilitation Department at the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center will offer a free screening program for cancer patients and those in the community who may be at risk for falling. Trained physical therapists will be available to evaluate, screen, and assess the risk for falls and provide recommendations.

If you have fallen in the past year, worry about falling, or feel unsteady when walking or standing, you may be at risk for falls. One in four people age 65 and older fall each year and cancer survivors have an increased risk. Falls are not a normal part of aging and can be prevented.

Please call 908-237-6040 to sign up for the free Balance and Falls Risk Screening Event on October 14, 2021. Registration is required.
