“Level Red” No Visitation Policy

No Visitor Sign
January 3, 2022

Effective Monday, January 3, 2022, “Level Red” No Visitation Policy

Due to the rapid increase in COVID hospitalizations and in accordance with the direction of the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA), hospitals in all regions of New Jersey have entered “level red” in their visitation precautions.

“Level Red” restricts ALL visitors, except under specific circumstances (see images). This is a necessary precaution as the daily increase in COVID-19 cases reaches new highs in New Jersey. Please note that the Emergency Department implemented the Level Red visitation protocol on December 30, 2021.

We are extremely sympathetic to our patients and their loved ones that want to visit the hospital. We know that support is very important. These guidelines aim to balance that with our overarching priority – and that is to protect our patients, visitors, and healthcare workers from COVID transmission.

If you need assistance scheduling a virtual visit with a patient in the hospital, please call our Hunterdon Healthcare Patient and Family Visitation line at (908) 788-6430. Representatives will be available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please see, Visitor Information.
