For the past 15 years, in honor of patients at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center and Hunterdon Medical Center, Girl Scout troops from Flemington and Raritan Township have made ornaments with messages of inspiration and hope for patients. The trees are decorated each year outside the cancer center’s chemotherapy treatment area to help lift the patient’s spirits for the holidays. This year Girl Scout troops from Flemington-Raritan Service Unit 84 made over 300 ornaments for the trees.
