Hunterdon Medical Center
Hunterdon Medical Center, acknowledged as a leader in developing comprehensive medical and health care services, is a 178-bed, non-profit community medical center. Our mission is to restore, preserve, and enhance the health of the community by providing a full range of preventive, diagnostic, holistic and therapeutic inpatient and outpatient hospital and community health services. The clinical staff is comprised of nearly 300 physicians and over 500 nurses in more than 47 medical specialties.

Since its opening in 1953, Hunterdon Medical Center has achieved widespread recognition for its role as a provider of community health services beyond those normally associated with a hospital. Through Hunterdon Healthcare’s certified Home Health Services Department, a full array of nursing and other services are available in the home. Patient and community education play an important role in our health care programs by providing screening and detection services, as well as preventive health education, which serves to keep people well and out of the hospital whenever possible. Our Behavioral Health Center offers a broad spectrum of counseling and therapy programs and is the principal provider of behavioral health services in the community.
