When you arrive you will be welcomed into a warm and friendly atmosphere to begin your journey to healing your wounds.
You will be introduced to a team of specialists who understand the emotional side of wound healing , as well as the treatment you need to heal your wounds.
Together we will develop an individualized treatment plan based upon your special needs.
 
Your team of specialists includes:
• A dedicated physician that specializes in wound care

• A team of nurse specialists skilled in the latest therapeutic methods that cure non-healing wounds

• A hyperbaric technician  will be at your side during the treatment that brings 100% oxygen throughout your entire body to promote healing

Our services:
• We will perform tests to evaluate your blood flow and tissue oxygenation; we will find out if your wound is infected.
 
• If your wound contains dead tissue we will remove it using a procedure called debridement. This is performed using a simple local anesthetic, and  is a fast way to reveal the good tissue that will form the foundation to rapid healing.

• We will provide you with detailed instruction on how to change your dressings.

• We will explain what activities will help, and what will hurt.

• We will also make sure you know what you should be eating for fastest healing. The right nutrition is a key to helping your body heal.

Hyperbaric Oxygen is often a powerful treatment. If your medical team decides you would benefit this is what will happen:

• First you will be placed in a large chamber with a see-through plastic shell. You can see everything going on around you, and you can watch TV or chat with the technician.

• The hyperbaric technician will then raise the oxygen level to 100% and the pressure inside the chamber will be increased so that oxygen is carried you’re your entire body. The only physical sensation you may feel inside the chamber is a slight ear pressure, similar to when an airplane lands.  This rarely lasts long.

• Your red blood cells will become oxygen enriched and move rapidly into the wound, to heal it from the inside out.
