Hunterdon Medical Center and Raritan Township Fire Company To Host 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Published  August 4, 2014

To mark the 13th anniversary of September 11th, Hunterdon Medical Center and the Raritan Township Fire Company will be hosting the 4th Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday, September 7th at the hospital from 8 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  The challenge will be to climb the equivalent number of stairs that the FDNY firefighters climbed in the World Trade Center prior to the collapses. This charitable event is meant to honor those who perished and to support those responders still suffering the effects of the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center.  The event is open to all firefighters, first responders and community members that would like to participate in the stair climb, which will take place in the parking garage on the campus of Hunterdon Medical Center.

Registration for individuals is $25 per person and $100 for teams of five people.  To register visit http://stairclimb911.eventbrite.com.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Feal Good Foundation,  a non-profit organization whose mission is to spread awareness and educate the public about the catastrophic health effects on 9/11 first responders, as well as to provide assistance to relieve these great heroes of the financial burdens placed on them.
