- Inpatient cardiac intensive care at Hunterdon Medical Center offers specialized care for cardiac patients.
- Cardiovascular nursing units, located at Hunterdon Medical Center, provide you with round-the-clock care from our experienced nursing staff.
- Cardiac Catheterization can evaluate abnormalities and the status of the heart, and assess any damage to the heart. Catheterization services include:
- carotid artery angioplasty and stenting
- peripheral vascular angiography, angioplasty, and stenting
- pacemaker and biventricular pacemaker placement
- emergency coronary artery angioplasty and stenting
- Diagnostic Services: Heart and Vascular Care conducts noninvasive studies to diagnose and manage both heart and vascular disease. Our services include:
- Echocardiography, or ECHO
- Electrocardiography, or EKG
- Exercise stress testing
- Nuclear stress testing
- Vascular imaging
- Carotid Doppler
- Holter monitoring
- Cardiovascular Rehabilitation: Heart and Vascular Care’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program consists of 12 weeks of monitored exercise, education and counseling led by a board certified cardiologist.
