Healthy bones and joints depend on proper exercise, nutrition and weight management. A Body Mass Index of 30 or greater is associated with increased risk of serious bone and joint conditions. Through the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management and the Center for Advanced Weight Loss, Hunterdon Medical Center offers many programs designed to help individuals make long-term lifestyle changes and meet healthy lifestyle goals.
We offer Sports Nutrition Counseling for the avid athlete as well as osteoporosis and weight management education and counseling for those looking to make healthy changes to their everyday routines. If you are struggling with obesity and related health concerns the Center for Advanced Weight Loss offers a medically supervised weight loss program as well as several surgical options.
