The Hunterdon Hospital Laboratory holds CLIA Certification and Accreditation as well as a New Jersey Clinical Laboratory License and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
The instruments we use are state-of-the-art and, in most instances, mirrored to assure maximum reporting capabilities.

Timeliness
The clinical laboratory operates 24 hours per day and 7 days a week to process specimens and verify the test results needed to care for and diagnose our patients.
Most testing is performed within 24 hours of request. Any tests not performed at Hunterdon are referred to appropriately licensed facilities. We are linked to most of  these laboratories electronically to assure the timeliest reporting of  results.

Professionalism
All members of our technical staff are highly skilled in medical laboratory science and meet licensing requirements for all licensing entities.
