Hunterdon Medical Center To Hold 14th Annual Baby, Tot and Kid Fair

Hunterdon Medical Center will host the 14th Annual Baby, Tot and Kid Fair, a free event for expectant parents, new families and parents of toddlers and young children on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the hospital.

The Baby, Tot and Kid Fair will provide attendees with the information they need to make decisions about taking care of their young children and family.  Come and learn about:

  • Obstetricians, Midwives, Pediatricians and Family Practice Physicians
  • The Maternity and Newborn Care Center
  • Lamaze and Hypnobirthing classes
  •  Parenting Education Classes
  • Child Care Providers
  • Preschools
  • Nutrition
  • Breastfeeding
  • Community classes for children
  • The Child Development Center
  • Tour the Maternity and Newborn Care Center
  • And much more!

9:30 a.m. Music Class with Music Together Family & Friends

10:00 a.m. Why to choose a Midwife presented by Catherine McCabe, CNM, All Women’s Healthcare

10:30 a.m. Keeping Fit & Feeling Good During Pregnancy & Postpartum presented by Yelena Belkina, M.D., Advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology

11:00 a.m. Basic Martial Arts Class for Kids with USA Karate & Fitness

11:30 a.m. Motor Development from Birth to 6 Months for Expectant and New Parents presented by Wendy Perlmutter, PT,MA C/NDT, Pediatric Physical Therapist, Child Development Center

11:30 a.m. Mini Gymnastics for Ages 2 – 6 with Shields Gymnastics

12:00 p.m. Dance Demonstration with HealthQuest of Hunterdon Q-Dynamics Dance Company

12:00 p.m. Actingarten with Hunterdon Academy of the Arts

Come and get your picture taken at the Baby, Tot and Kid Fair photo booth and free Face painting.  In addition, attendees will enjoy the Baby Fair Spa with complimentary paraffin dip wax, hands dipped in melted paraffin wax for softening and moisturizing.  Nail polish changes will also be done and arm massages.  This service will be provided by the Hunterdon County Polytech Career and Technical School.

In addition, during the month of April Hunterdon Medical Center is proud to be sponsoring the United Way of Hunterdon County and NORWESCAP’s Diaper Bank. Attendees are encouraged to bring in a box of diapers to help support this drive.
