January 3, 2019 marked the first day for Patrick Gavin, Hunterdon Healthcare’s new President and CEO.
Since 2016, Mr. Gavin served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania with over 6,000 employees. He was previously Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System from 2012-2016 and the Chief Executive Officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System. Mr. Gavin joined the Health System in 2010 as the president of Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Before coming to the Crozer-Keystone Health System, Mr. Gavin served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA. He previously held senior leadership roles with Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, PA; Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia and Chilton Memorial Hospital, in Pompton Plains, NJ.
Mr. Gavin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University, an MBA in information systems from Saint Joseph’s University and a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania, The Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County and the Boys and Girls Club of Chester, of which he is the former Chair.
