Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers Offers CPR Basics
The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers in Whitehouse Station and Clinton are dedicated to providing health enhancement and disease prevention programs for the community. As part of their Education Series, the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers will offer CPR Basics, on Monday, June 12th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in Clinton and Tuesday, June 13th from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Whitehouse Station.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, or CPR, can double or triple a person’s chance of survival, especially if performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest. However, only 32 percent of cardiac arrest victims receive CPR from a bystander. Anyone can learn CPR and everyone should. This class will go over the basics of CPR and what to do in the event of a cardiac arrest. It will be led by Paul Hutchins, Program Coordinator, Center for CPR and Public Access Defibrillation.
This program is free and participants will receive a guest pass to be used at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers.
