Annual Benefit ‘A Culinary Affair’ Breaks $700,000 in Funds Raised for Hunterdon Hospice and Visiting Health and Supportive Services

On Monday, September 24, 2018, the Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary and Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation held their annual event ‘A Culinary Affair’ which benefitted Hunterdon Hospice and Visiting Health and Supportive Services. This year the event raised $61,840, bringing the total funds raised since the events inception to over $700,000.
The event was held at The Farmhouse at the Grand Colonial in Hampton, NJ and featured specialty food tastings from local restaurants, wineries and breweries and had over 250 guest in attendance at “A Culinary Affair” goes…Irish!
Guests were able to enjoy many Irish themed culinary dishes as well as entertainment, which included Irish Step Dancers provided by Heritage Irish Dance Company and Irish singing provided by Paul Chandonnet.

A drawing was done to determine the new destination for 2019. Next year’s event will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 and will be, “A Culinary Affair!” goes….German. Exciting culinary dishes and entertainment will be provided in the new German theme. Next year will be the 40th anniversary for Hunterdon Hospice and 61st anniversary for Visiting Health and Supportive Services.
