Pedro Vieira, M.D. Joins HMC Staff

Hunterdon Medical Center is pleased to announce that Pedro Vieira, M.D has been granted privileges in the department of surgery.  Dr. Vieira is a specialist in general surgery and has been trained in advanced laparoscopy, minimal invasive surgery.  He has joined John Bello, M.D., FACS, Joseph Bello, M.D., FACS, and Herman Maeuser, M.D. of Hunterdon Surgical Associates located in the Doctors Office Building, suite 302, 1100 Wescott Drive, in Flemington.

Dr. Vieira is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  He completed his residency in general surgery at The University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.  Dr. Vieira has experience in managing complicated wounds and will be also working at the new Hunterdon Wound Healing Center located in the Wescott Medical Arts Center, next to Hunterdon Medical Center.  Dr. Vieira has published several articles in medical journals and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery.
