Hunterdon Medical Center and NAMI Host Evening Program on Mental Illness

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Hunterdon and Intensive Family Support Services at Hunterdon Medical Center are co-sponsoring a presentation by Michael Giantini, PhD, MA, LPC from the UMDNJ Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation on "How do people change during the course of their mental illness and what they can do to facilitate the change process?" The presentation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Dr. Giantini will review research on behavior change, focusing on severe mental health, and current interventions that are most likely to facilitate behavior and enhance recovery. The presentation is open to the public and will be helpful to families with a mentally ill relative, consumers and professionals.
