Best Selling Author and Culinary Expert Devin Alexander to Speak at Hunterdon Medical Center

New York Times Bestselling Author, Devin Alexander, is a veteran in the fight against obesity and she’s winning the war with her unique approach to healthy cooking. Having maintained a 55 pound weight loss for over 15 years, she lives and eats her message: you don’t have to deprive yourself to be fit and healthy. As part of Hunterdon Medical Center’s Nutrition Series, Devin Alexander will speak on Thursday, April 24th in the Auditorium at Hunterdon Medical Center. Registration will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and the program will run from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. with book signing to follow. A tasting of some of the recipes featured in Devin’s cookbook will be provided by Hunterdon Medical Center.
Devin is the host of “Healthy Decadence with Devin Alexander” on Discovery Health Channel and has shared her secrets for unbelievably decadent, yet healthy foods through frequent appearances on Good Morning America, The View, The Biggest Loser, The Today Show, Discovery Health’s National Body Challenge, FOX, HGTV, USA, Style Network and others, and through over 100 magazine features including Prevention, Women’s Health, Shape, and Healthy Cooking, to name a few.
Devin has served as Culinary Advisor to Men’s Fitness Magazine and Cooking Expert to Women’s Health. She is author of The Biggest Loser Cookbook, which accompanies the hit NBC show and spent weeks on The New York Times Bestsellers List. Devin also wrote the cookbook, Fast Food Fix, which was featured as an editor’s top pick in USA Today. Her next book, The Most Decadent Diet Ever! will be available in April.
