HMC to hold presentation: Are you at risk for cancer?

Did you know colon cancer and uterine cancer may be related? Breast cancer and prostate cancer may also be related, and pancreatic cancer can be related to all of these. Hunterdon Medical Center and the Clinton Book Shop in Clinton will be hosting a workshop - Are you at risk for cancer? The workshop will be held on Thursday, May 22nd from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Clinton Book Shop located on Main Street in Clinton. Come learn more about whether your family should consider a risk assessment.
Come talk with Jackie Allen, RN, MSN, AOCN, Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center's Family Risk Assessment Program coordinator. This presentation will help you understand why some cancers occur at an early age, whether testing for a gene is an option for your family, and if a family at high risk for cancer can reduce this risk.
