Hunterdon Medical Center To Hold 4th Annual Baby Fair For Moms & Dads-To-Be and New Parents

Stella Reid of Fox’s hot television program Nanny 911 author of Nanny 911 Expert Advice for All Your Parenting Emergencies will share her thoughts on how parents can regain control through simple, direct, nanny-tested measures. At Hunterdon Medical Center’s 4th Annual Baby Fair.

Hunterdon Medical Center will host the 4th Annual Baby Fair, a free event for expectant parents, new families and parents of toddlers, on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the hospital.

Becoming a family is the most exciting time in your life. The Baby Fair will provide attendees with the information they need to make decisions about taking care of their young children and family. Come and learn about:

  • Preconception Planning
  • The Maternity and Newborn Care Center
  • Lamaze classes, Hypnobirthing and Parenting Education Classes
  • Infant CPR and what to look for in a baby sitter
  • Day Care options
  • Pediatricians, Obstetricians, Infertility Specialists and Family Practice Physicians
  • Latino Prenatal & Well Child Program
  • Nutrition
  • Speech and Hearing
  • Before and After Baby Exercise Classes

Phakinee Solstad, Hunterdon Medical Center employee and author of children’s books which include I am One Year Old, Talk To Me, Tomjubchai, The Thai Seasons and Let’s Count will lead story time from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center in Whitehouse Station will hold a Before and After Baby Exercise class at 11:00 a.m. and a Before and After Baby Yoga class at 12:30 p.m. in Meeting Room C at the hospital.  Kathleen Lombardi, RD, a nutritionist at the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management and Susan Lang-Saponara, RD, Shop-Rite of Flemington will lead a discussion on The Fussy Eater from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C.

Visit the Safe Kids Bike Rodeo outside in the Parking lot near the Parking Garage.  Learn how to prevent accidental injuries with your kids, sponsored by safe Kids Hunterdon County.

A special presentation by Stella Reid of Fox’s hot television program Nanny 911 will be held at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.  Stella Reid author of Nanny 911 Expert Advice for All Your Parenting Emergencies will share her thoughts on how parents can regain control through simple, direct, nanny-tested measures.  The fee to attend this special program is $25 per person.  Pre-registration is required.  Stella Reid’s Nanny 911 Expert Advice for All Your Parenting Emergencies will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow each presentation.
