Hunterdon Behavioral Health Introduces Circles of Recovery for Women with Addiction Issues

Hunterdon Behavioral Health will offer Circles of Recovery, a Psychotherapy Group for women who struggle with addiction. The group meets every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on the 5th floor in Hunterdon Behavioral Health at Hunterdon Medical Center.
Admission criteria:
- Women who have a diagnosis of substance abuse or substance dependence and are seeking to remain abstinent from all substances .
- Women who are in an ongoing relationship with an individual therapist.
This gender specific group recognizes the unique treatment of issues of women who have addiction issues. It will highlight the importance of social connection, self-care and developing a sense of autonomy in women who are moving toward a life of wellness and recovery.
