1. How much do I really owe?
You will not receive a statement for your portion of the bill until your insurance company(s) has paid or denied your claim.

2. Who can I call for help?
You may call Hunterdon Medical Center's Patient Accounts Department for assistance. To reach our Patient Accounts Department, call 908-788-6194. You may call Patient Accounts between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

3. Where are you located?
The Patient Accounts Department is located in our Main Lobby across from the Gift Shop.

4. What are the phone numbers to call?
If you have specific questions regarding your insurance, please call the Customer Service number noted on your ID Card. Additional numbers you may need are noted below.

5. I received a bill from a Doctor whom I did not see. Why?
HMC may send laboratory testing, X-rays or pathologies to another physician to study. You will receive a bill directly from these groups for those specific tests. Although you may have received some or all of your services at HMC, each Doctor is a business and each has its own billing and account procedure. Hunterdon Medical Center has a variety of options available to our patients. We will assist you in determining if you qualify for assistance or help you set up payment plans.
