Is Losing Weight a Goal in 2010?  These Programs Can Help

Did you make your New Years resolution for 2010?  Will it be to lose weight?  You are not alone.  Most people that make resolutions for the start of the New Year want to lose weight.  The Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management is offering a new 8-week program to address issues and frustrations related to weight management.  Classes will be held Mondays beginning January 25th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management located in the Wescott Medical Arts Center, 9100 Wescott Drive, Ste. 102 in Flemington.  In addition, a special 8-week program for seniors will be held Wednesdays beginning January 27th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Senior Center, 4 Gaunt Place in Flemington. 

A registered dietitian will direct the program covering a variety of topics related to weight management and healthy eating including: meal planning, label reading, exercise recommendations, metabolism and intuitive eating.  This program will challenge your beliefs about why you can’t lose weight.  It is safe for individuals with diabetes and other nutrition related conditions. 

The cost of the program is $125.   Senior discount for 65 and older is $100.   Pre-registration is required.  Call the Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management at 908-237-6920 for more information.
