The Sergeantsville Inn held their annual Hunterdon Hospice benefit dinner on October 4th in memory of James and Marie Clyde.  Executive Chef and owner, Joe Clyde provides an annual wine tasting dinner to directly benefit Hunterdon Hospice.  This year, the event raised nearly $7,200 for Hunterdon Hospice.    Mr. Clyde has raised over $32,000 for Hunterdon Hospice since 2001 from this annual dinner.

For the past ten years, Mr. Clyde has been the proprietor of The Sergeantsville Inn and he began his mission for supporting hospice services then.  Mr. Clyde explained, “Life is not about taking, but giving back to the community.”

Hunterdon Hospice provides physical, spiritual, psychosocial and bereavement support to those with a life threatening illness and their families.  Services focuses on quality of life, not length of life.  Hospice’s unique approach addresses the needs of the entire family unit in planning care.
